Ta-da! Your 1 piece of your backless top is now finished. Now let's put it together.
ASSEMBLING THE BACKLESS TOP (49:02 YouTube)
Fold your top with wrong side out and fold it together so your top part is align (you should have the same number of stitches). With your yarn needle and your long tail sew the parts together.
HOW TO MAKE THE TWISTED BACK (52:55 YouTube)
As mentioned at the beginning you should have your stitch markers at the end of the 24th row inserted.
For better explanation let's call the sides A and B.
Grab your side B from the first row to the stitch marker as it's shown on the picture and put it half way on top of the side A where the stitch marker is. You can attach the half of the side B with the stitch marker of the side A.
Take your beginning of the side A and fold it over the side B to the stitch marker of the side A. (Basically you fold your side A and put the first half of side B in the folded part).
Now you get three layers.
Grab your side B at the stitch marker and fold it over the top side A.
Now you have all 4 layers on top of each other. Grab your yarn needle and the yarn and sew this together through the stitches.
Ta-da! Your twisted part is done and so does your summer top! Don't forget to weave in your tails and flip the top to the right side out.
